Worldclass Athletes
A total of 70 skiers and snowboarders (m/f) including wild cards with high FWQ and FWT ranking are expected to compete at 4* World Tour Qualifier in Hochfügen. The contest will be held on the renowned and well-known “Hochfügen Ostwand”. The Big Mountain Hochfügen is one of seven 4* qualifiers worldwide and the well established Austrian contest on a 4* level.
Location
The location of the contest face „Ostwand“ is in the middle of the Hochfügen ski resort. Visitors have a perfect view directly from the 8er Alm right on the mountain station of the brand new 8er Gondola. Even without skis you will have a great experience! Good food, good mood and a perfect view on the action.

On the contest day, freeriders from all over the globe will give the jury, guests and spectators an impressive show on the famous »Hochfügen Ostwand« They will display perfect lines, breathtaking cliff jumps and acrobatic tricks in Hochfügen’s untouched powder. Guests and spectators can join the spectacle with best visual conditions from the spectator area at the 8er Alm close to 8er Jet top station.
Testival
Partners and sponsors of the Big Mountain Hochfügen will present their products in the Expo Area at the parking lot event area. Come along to view, learn about and test the products at any time!

Enjoy the food and Event Area at the 8er Alm. It is located right at the top of the 8er Gondola, where you have the best view on all the action. Enjoy the freeride atmosphere, the brand new Doppelmayer Chairlift and enjoy a great day at the Hochfügen Ski Resort.

For the first time in the BigMountain history this party will be open to the public. Be part of the excitement on the evening before the contest. Meet the athletes, join the party with good food, drinks and sound! Get your warm Jackets out, this will happen outside in the Hochfügen ski area parking lot.
